The people you will work with
Anatec is a two-person company. When you work with us, you work directly with Richard Lee and Caroline Eveleigh: the people who explore your business needs, shape the solution and remain involved as your system develops.
We combine business analysis with software and data engineering. That keeps the purpose of a system closely connected to its design, the people who will use it and the results it needs to achieve.
Richard Lee
Technical Director · MSc, CEng, MBCS, CITP
Richard is a Chartered Engineer who designs and develops business systems. His work spans software applications, databases, cloud services and analytics, with current capabilities in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and applied AI.
He turns business objectives into practical designs, using prototypes to explore ideas and resolve technical uncertainties. His focus is on dependable, usable systems that can be maintained and adapted as the business changes.
Caroline Eveleigh
Business Director · MBA, MBCS
Caroline is a systems analyst with a background in business management and marketing. She helps clients clarify what they need, develop a sound business case and build a shared understanding of what the system should achieve.
Her focus is on pain-free requirements analysis and clear communication. Alongside her MBA and marketing qualifications, she holds the Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification, supporting her work at the meeting point of business needs, data and technology.
Working together, directly with you
Our two perspectives inform one another throughout a project. A discussion about how people work might lead to a prototype; trying that prototype can reveal a better approach or a requirement that was difficult to describe in words. We explore those questions with you as the system takes shape.
Based in Reading, we deliver our work in the UK without subcontracting. You can discuss questions and decisions directly with us, with continuity from the initial conversation through development and subsequent improvements.
What would you like to achieve?
If you have an opportunity or a problem in mind, get in touch. You do not need a detailed technical brief to start a conversation.
